Confidence Mapping is a premium service that allows multiple years of map inputs. We can merge anywhere from 2 to 52 maps into this process, giving you maps that are stable and that you have Confidence in. Using GK proprietary formulas, the data is merged together to form 3 maps.

Confidence Map is basically a map showing how "Stable or Consistent" an area of the field is. It does not show high or low production, it shows us how "Confident" we are that area will produce at a given level. This map is used to show "Erratic" & "Stable" areas of the field and help growers decide how to manage each area.

Yield Potential Maps

Yield Potential Map removes data at a given area in the field that does not come to a given production level for that area of the field. The data that does not rise to the level of production is automatically removed from the data set and all input layers are averaged together. Show us the highs "Potential" for the field. This map may be used for the "Management Zones", but usually used for the "Yield Goals".

Average Production Maps

Average Production Map is simple; all the layers normalized into one map. The mean output value of this map should be "1". If the maps are not the exact same number of Acres, the mean output may not be exactly "1". This map is usually used for the management zones.
