Would anyone else benefit from some acre management features? Personally, I’d like to get have an Excel acreage report by farm (boundaries or shapes stored in a certain folder and the acres get totaled accordingly). Currently, I have to make a big excel book each year and enter new farms, acres, legal descriptions, past and previous crops, and sampling checkboxes. Would this help anyone else manage their workload?
Thanks for the question. This has been a question asked at meetings many times. Yes we agree it would be a nice feature. It gets very difficult to implement as ADMS has no fixed data structure and names. It makes these types of requests very difficult. You may have many boundaries in a field for different years and different uses. I make pre-order fertilizer sheets for some of my customers, be nice to have a summary table i can put together, but i have to do it all manually. I totally know what you are asking for. I sure DO NOT want to make ADMS into a fixed data structure system. The freeform functions of it is part of its appeal and power, also part of its curse and weakness. We will continue to look for opportunities, place or ways we could accomplish this. Good question, keep them coming.
