Do you know what format is needed to export prescription files out of ADMS to be imported into a Kinze Blue Vantage Controller? I see there is an option to export out of SMS but I’m hoping something can be done right out of ADMS.
Jay. I had a customer with this exact problem / question a couple weeks ago. I know little to nothing about the controller. We tried the export from SMS v22.00 and it sent out a KML file. They tried to load that file and it did not work on a BlueVantage with the newest firmware for 2022 as of April 1 ! The KML file some very exact column headers in the database and the kml was also in a “Prescription” folder. Here is what we found worked: Starting at the corn seed.grd that was in seeds per acre with 1000 seed breaks. Exported as a SHP grid at 6 meters (center & infinite) on fields less than 300ac and 8 meters (center & infinite) greater than 300ac. Then using the Shape Tools and Dissolve by Corn Seed. On the dissolved SHP file you must have the Database headers named like the following – Columns named- Corn Seed renamed to TargetRate / Farm / Field / Operation / Units. NOTE all the values under Operation must say Planting and all the values under Units must say sds/ac if doing seeds per acre and ksds/ac if doing Kseeds per acre. This video should be helpful. https://www.dropbox.com/s/dn9yf5r3h0oo3ha/Kinzie-BlueVantage.mp4?dl=0
