I’m working with a computer that has older versions of the software installed. When I go to the install page on the web and update, it doesn’t uninstall the old software.  After manually uninstalling the software, the software still won’t open properly.  Kelly mentioned that there are some old files that still exist that should be deleted.  When those files were deleted, the software acted correctly again.  Where do we find those files?

For most people, I would recommend calling for help on this one. As a computer gets more ClickOnce deployments installed, it becomes tougher to figure out what to delete. That being said, the folder that contains to folders with the current and previous versions of ADMS are at “C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0”. Inside there is a “Data” folder and a folder with Random Letters. There are entries to remove in both of those folders, and they go deep. If the folders are all easy to recognize for example they all start with adms..tion, you can pretty much delete everything in there. But the more apps that are on the computer, the more complicated it gets.
