Shape File Import

Nick LammersNick Lammers asked 4 years ago

I have created a VR Irrigation script for a mapped field in ADMS. How do I get that shp file to show up in ADMS so I can overlay it on the data layers we already have for that field?

Clarification on previous. The VRI script was created in another software platform but I want to import it as a shp file

Figured that out. But another question, how do I get a shp file to display over top a grd file?

It depends on where the VRI file came from. You may be able to export it to a .shp file from the other software platform. Sounds like you made it that far. If the grd and the shp file are not displaying over top of one another, they may have different coordinate systems. ADMS, by default imports .shp files as WGS84.

If you mean how it import it, just drag and drop to the data tree, or to the folder that is the field folder of the data tree.
